“The Film Office would like to take this opportunity remind the industry that due to COVID and for safety, the City’s Business Licencing Offices are currently closed for in-person visits, and all applications for Business or Temporary Business applications must be submitted on-line or by email. In light of the volume and backlog, the processing times for all business applications are longer than usual and can take up to eight (8) weeks. Members in Locations are encouraged to submit their business applications online as soon as possible in order to allow sufficient approval and processing time for the Licencing Office to issue your business licence. An additional reminder that all film productions need to enter into a license agreement with the City, no matter the length of your filming. We only allow filming after this agreement is in place and signed by people in your company with signing authority and your business licence number.” as well as the Legal Services Branch to prepare your Master Filming License Agreement.
